Its strategic location close to major road links, will improve operational efficiency.
The construction of Magor Gateway 156 was a significant undertaking for Owens Group. Despite challenges posed by the Welsh weather, the project progressed steadily. Regular updates shared by the company highlighted the building's development, showcasing the structural framework and the installation of modern facilities designed to meet diverse client needs.
Concrete Structures and Floors Ltd brought their expertise to complete 13 pumped concrete pours and a high quality brush finish to the 10,000sqm yard slab which forms access to the loading bays and on site parking. See the photo below of our finished works.
Brush finish concrete slabs offer several benefits, making them a popular choice for various applications. The textured surface enhances slip resistance, improving safety in wet or high-traffic areas as expected at this facility. This finish also provides better traction for vehicles and pedestrians. Additionally, brush-finished concrete is durable, low-maintenance, and resistant to weathering, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is cost-effective compared to polished or decorative finishes while still offering a clean and professional appearance. The finishing process is quick and efficient, ensuring a practical solution for projects requiring both functionality and longevity.
The construction of Magor Gateway 156 marks a significant milestone for Owens Group, reflecting their dedication to growth and excellence in providing top-tier logistics and warehousing services. Concrete Structures and Floors Ltd are proud to be part of this exceptional project.
